Formulae

Realmshift Across the Room

  • A quick and simple Realmshift to a nearby location.
  • Type: Simple, Realmshifting, Order, Shifting, maneuver (move)
  • Power: 4 shifts.
  • Limitations: none (1 FP commitment)
  • Control: Roll Conviction (+4) plus appropriate limitations and focus items
  • Target: Self
  • Duration: Instant
  • Effect: Move 4 zones, ignoring all physical (but not Craft) zone borders.
  • Variations: The Crafter could add additional shifts to move additional zones.

Can’t Hit Me

  • Type: Simple, Realmshifting, Order, Shifting, defensive block
  • Power: 4 shifts
  • Limitations: none (1 FP commitment)
  • Control: Roll Conviction (+4) plus applicable limitations and focus items
  • Duration: One round
  • Opposed by: Melee or Ranged
  • Effect: Teleport out of the way of damage.
  • Variations: The Crafter could change the power of the block (invoking aspects as necessary for additional help), or declare it as armor, which allows it to remain even if overcome (at the cost of it only providing two points of armor (Dam or Acc) – half the shifts of effect, rounded down). The Crafter could add shifts of power to increase the duration. Another variation is to use a focus item, such as a shield gauntlet, to enhance the power of the block or to gain additional exchanges of duration essentially for free.

Whirlwind

  • This spell calls up a whirlwind, tossing people around like the proverbial rag dolls.
  • Type: Simple, Skyshaping, Chaos, Shaping, offensive maneuver
  • Power: Varies; 6 shifts in this case (3 for effect, 1 for extended duration, 2 for wide effect)
  • Limitations: none (1 FP commitment, 3 Composure stress)
  • Control: Roll Creativity (+3) plus appropriate limitations and focus items
  • Target: Every person within a single zone
  • Opposed by: Target’s Athletics
  • Effect: The target has the sticky aspect “Knocked Prone” applied to him.
  • Variations: With an invocation of a scene aspect – “Loose Objects” or something like it – you could rebuild this as an outright attack.
Bio:

Two older brothers,

don’t relate well to father – driven by ambition, doesn’t care about anyone. All pawns to him. Most siblings like dad, Nila doesn’t. Dad married mom as a tool.

Mom a little better, but not much – happy to be trophy wife. No problem betraying each other – offends Nila. Probably married for love.

Grandfather (mother’s) – Not political, more artistic, loved children. Most of his children (Nila’s aunts and uncles) more artistic than political. Grandfather very racist. Smiled on marriage of Nila’s parents because it was two strong Sky-Carver groups.
